While they differ on the specifics, all religions agree on the following: The state of your soul and your consciousness at the time of your death is a determining factor on where you go next.

When we think of the word 'death' we, of course, think of our transition from physical death to the afterlife.

However, there are many big deaths and rebirths throughout the course of our human life as well, where the state of our consciousness at the time of transition is fundamental to what comes next.

Instead of drinking and drugging yourself unconscious amidst terrible music, what if New Year's was actually considered to be a sacred and holy time of transition?

A time to turn off the phone and the TV. A time to tune into your breath. A time to pray and meditate. A time commune with God's creation, as you engage in deep conversation,

around the fireplace, with fellow souls on the path.

What if it was a time to prepare to sanctify your soul for the New Year? A time to get quiet and listen for the intentions that are being called forth over the next 12 months.

A time to ask to be held accountable to stepping into the highest and best version of yourself this coming year.
